Recent Updates on  CAT notification - Exam to be held on 29th November

CAT 2015 will be held on 29th November on a single day. 

Recent Developments ?

1.Starting 2015, a new section has been introduced i.e. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DLIR). Aspirants cannot switch the sections from one to another and are required to spend 60 minutes on each section. Till 2014, data interpretation (DI) was a part of Quantitative Ability and logical reasoning was part of Verbal Reasoning.

2.Time duration for the examination has been increased from 170 minutes to 180 minutes. There would be 3 sections of 60 minutes each. The test will be held at 650 centres across 136 cities on the same day in two sessions.

3.The major change in the examination process is written answers. Till 2014, CAT was totally based on multiple choice based questions, but this year, some questions may not be having multiple choices, the detailed format of the examination will be available on the official website from October 15, 2015.
